Oregon really screwed the pooch on this one. By making a fuss about Moos interviewing for the UNLV job, which he backed down from. It opened the door for him to take the AD position for one of their closest competitors!

I don't think Nike U is worried about little ol' Wazzu no matter who our AD is. No matter, I truly believe Moos will take WSU to new heights in both facilities and performance on the field/court.

They're not worried...yet. Now that he's onboard officially, I think LucasCoug is right on. I believe "Orygun" screwed up on this one. Not only did Moos leave there with less than good feelings, they've given him ammunition with the conduct of their players. Their coach has made the best lemonaide he can out of the situation(s) by getting those players out of the program, but still they are his players. Let's go on from here and bring all Cougar athletics to the level we can be proud of.

Just a thought. Bill Moos will probably reinvigorate donations to the athletic budget and foundation. By his overwhelming popularity and seeming support of the fans, he just might reduce the budget deficit in Bohler. Some on this blog last week promised to double their pledges before Moos was offered the job. Now that he's accepted it, are there others willing to do the same or at least take their contributions to the next higher level? We all want a successful athletic program, now is the time to say "YES" to the Cougs. Our facilities are lacking compared to schools we are recruiting against. Martin Stadium is looking very good, and Phase III is well underway. Good thing are ahead for us if we get the ball rolling and get behind Moos.

The additional donations are working already...I gave to the weight room fund last week as part of "Walden's Challenge".
